So, I've been playing a lot KH DDD lately, so I'm gonna give out my thoughts. So, first of all the battle system is the same from BBS, but with much less options IMO. It's a lot harder here to get good commands to use in battles. Second of all, the game is VERY difficult compared to any other KH game I've played. The bosses don't have almost any openings, and it's harder to damage them forcing you to spam distance attacks all the time.
Fortunately the game has a "flowmotion" system (or something), which lets you do damaging attacks while charging a wall, grinding a rail, etc even though you can get hit during it.
There's also a "drop" system; that means after a certain amount of time you get 30 seconds of munny farming from enemies and after that you're forced to switch from Sora to Riku (or viceversa). The problem with this system is if you drop during a boss fight with a character, the fight resets when you go back to the character you were using, and when you're about to finish off a boss, that can be very annoying.
In your party you don't have anymore Donald and Goofy, but instaed you have to get enemies in your party and level them up, and that seems a ripoff of Pokemon IMO.
And also I started directly on Proud (the game was dumb enough to not let me choose Critical before I beat the game once), and I found the first boss with Sora terribly hard, while very easy with Riku because there was a cheap rail during the entire battle. As for now I'm struggling on the third boss because I'm underleveled, and it takes ages to get a level in this game.
It's not the KH game I expected, but if you have a 3DS you may pick it up.
Speaking of 3DS, the capture device is out but unfortunately it's like 200 bucks plus all the shipping. I want to save money now, so I'm not sure when I'll get one. Support me by clicking on the ads on my videos so I may be able to afford it.
