So, I wanted my next Let's Play to be Jak 3. Back when the HD Collection came out I ordered it but it took 2 months to deliver, so a kind user gave me his PSN account, so I could download it for free.
But by now it somehow expired so I can't play the game again. I was about to sell the retail copy I have to retro stores which will be in my town next week (no time to explain why here), but now I'll have to ask the account owner why this is happening, or unseal my copy (so if I'll ever want to sell it in the future I'm screwed).
But anyway, I'll wait before doing Jak 3. I started recording another very nostalgic game which got an HD remake last few weeks. It's a 2001 game, so start guessing XD.
Also, Sony... HOW COULD YOU FUCK UP PSN SO BAD TODAY?!?

Why one video per day
So, I've seriously been spammed lately on YT on PMs by people who want me to upload more, and my reply to any of them is no. I simply can't and these are some good reasons:
1) I'm graduating from high school this year, so I need at least 6 hours a day of homework plus 5 hours of school in the morning (yep, Saturday included). If you're coming from the US, this is totally not as easy as you'd think. It can be actually harder than college than what many people say
2) I have a bad internet, which slows down while uploading. Back in the day when I was uploading more the file size usually ended up in being like 100MB. Now I get 800MB to 2GB files because I do a lot of quality control, and it takes like 4/10 hours to upload. And then I have to wait until the video is done so I can post the thumbnail and publish it, unlike when I didn't have partnership. It's a pain.
3) Nobody would sit for 3 hours watching me playing a videogame. More I upload, less people actually watch entirely the videos. I know views aren't important, but why doing more effort to get less?
So after this said, I hope I won't get questions about this again. I don't have 100k subs yet, so I'm still forced to do what my subscribers tell me to do.
And yea, I'll try to get done R&C3 before the final exams if I get a ton of requests, because I'd like to do another game series instaed.

Google Epic Fail
So, last couple days there has been an issue with many blogs. Basically there has been a video from SSoHPKC (one of my favorite LPers, check him out), which was a GTA 4 The Ballad of Gay Tony part which has been appearing in many blogs by referral link. In other words both the bloggers and the video get unwanted traffic.
You know why all this BS happened? Because there was a mission in the video called "Blog This" (the one when you go to the internet cafe), and fucking Google threw the video in the blog section just by the name of the mission. It's pretty similar to when I uploaded a KH2FM video which has "Magic" in the title, and YT thought it was from a band called Magic and got unwanted traffic.
The big deal is how many IDIOT bloggers are now being dickheads on the video saying Seamus is doing that to get traffic, and they think it's clumsy to let people comment while in fact he didn't know anything. Would they even look at all the hundred thousands of subscribers he had?
And yea, this is coming from somebody who has been watching him for over 3 years. So, I really hope Google/YT will stop using this autodetect title words bullshit, because it gets annoying (I remember a Prototype video having this issue as well).

Kingdom Hearts 3D Dream Drop Distance - First Hours of Gameplay
So, I've been playing a lot KH DDD lately, so I'm gonna give out my thoughts. So, first of all the battle system is the same from BBS, but with much less options IMO. It's a lot harder here to get good commands to use in battles. Second of all, the game is VERY difficult compared to any other KH game I've played. The bosses don't have almost any openings, and it's harder to damage them forcing you to spam distance attacks all the time.
Fortunately the game has a "flowmotion" system (or something), which lets you do damaging attacks while charging a wall, grinding a rail, etc even though you can get hit during it.
There's also a "drop" system; that means after a certain amount of time you get 30 seconds of munny farming from enemies and after that you're forced to switch from Sora to Riku (or viceversa). The problem with this system is if you drop during a boss fight with a character, the fight resets when you go back to the character you were using, and when you're about to finish off a boss, that can be very annoying.
In your party you don't have anymore Donald and Goofy, but instaed you have to get enemies in your party and level them up, and that seems a ripoff of Pokemon IMO.
And also I started directly on Proud (the game was dumb enough to not let me choose Critical before I beat the game once), and I found the first boss with Sora terribly hard, while very easy with Riku because there was a cheap rail during the entire battle. As for now I'm struggling on the third boss because I'm underleveled, and it takes ages to get a level in this game.
It's not the KH game I expected, but if you have a 3DS you may pick it up.
Speaking of 3DS, the capture device is out but unfortunately it's like 200 bucks plus all the shipping. I want to save money now, so I'm not sure when I'll get one. Support me by clicking on the ads on my videos so I may be able to afford it.

Update / Upcoming Videos / Possible 3DS LPs
I'm really surprised about all the positive feedback my Ratchet and Clank videos got, and I hope it'll be also for many other series. I have the sequels in my planned games list, but I won't do them right after the first game or it'd be too much of Ratchet and Clank. I'll probably end up in doing Jak 3 or Sly 3, but I'll also post a video asking for some suggestion.
I've been asked a lot to do Kingdom Hearts 3D, and at the moment I can't unfortunately. I have a pretty bad camera, and even if I had one which shots at full resolution, a video shot from an handheld system would look like ass. Instaed I've seen a couple of people working on a 3DS capture card, which installs on the system and unfortunately voids the warranty. The prototype at the moment is VERY expensive, so I'll mostly wait until the fin al version will be done. As far I know it should take around 3 months. I also had in mind to do Super Mario 3D and the upcoming New Super Mario Bros on 3DS.
If you wonder how the video would look like with the card, look at these videos:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OdFxzmShlhI
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Shh1tb8kiaw
This also means I'll be able to do DS LPs without using crappy emulators, since I had bad luck with them.

It's been almost a month...
Yea, I almost forgot to update my blog. In the meantime I got partnered with a Fullscreen network called PlanetPoke and I'm still a member of Yeousch. So what I should do is some high quality Pokemon LPs, but unfortunately most of my subscribers don't really care about Pokemon. So I should probably do some new hacks of the GBA games since it's my favorite system to play Pokemon on.
And as for the current LPs, I'm now doing Ratchet and Clank from the HD collection. I never thought it could be so popular (expecially compared t what I've done before), and now I'll sure take the R&C series further. But again I don't like doing the sequel back to back or it'd be too much to me. I've also wanted to do Jak 3, but I'm still doing some practice on it. I've also seen Sly 4 at E3 being out at the end of this year so I may do the third game first.
And as for other games, this year Nintendo announced the Wii U and I'm probably gonna wait until a price drop, while for the PS3 I'll probably pick up only the Smash Bros clone. As for the 3DS I'm interested in both KH3D (asked a lot) and the new NSMB, but I don't really have a good camera and getting a new one would be like 500€ or something. I'm in the process to earn money with my partnership and since it's from making videos, I'll spend most of them to get new games and recording setup atm.

More about partnership
I finally knew that Fullscreen doesn't partner gaming channels, while a part of them (Yeousch) does. So just yesterday I started replying to some threads on the Yeousch site, I put that YouTube subscribe widget and in less than a day I made 4 subscribers. My goal is to reach 1,500.
If you wonder WHY I want to get partnership, it's because the YouTube search algorythm is so flawed that videos from partners AND extremely old videos get displayed at first place, unless somebody uses the "New" tag which is not that obvious either. If I include my videos in a show series once I get partnership, my videos will be displayed at the first page. I also noticed how people who upload custom thumbnails get at the top of the search results as well.
Again, it's not just about money since I already have a job (even though it could help me a lot), but it's mostly for the partner features.
If you've just checked my channel, be sure to subscribe to support me!

Trouble in getting partnership
I shouldn't really celebrate my 60th post with this one.
But anyway I received a reply from Fullscreen and you know what they told me? Since I upload gaming videos I have to partner with Yeousch instaed (they're affilates). As I said, Yeousch pretends 1500 subs even though I've seen people with less who got partnered. I replied back to FS to see if they can partner me anyway.
If they won't reply, then Machinima will be my only option. They don't have any requirement but it's better if I had Minecraft or CoD videos, and I don't want to do both since they're done to death on YT, and I prefer to play a totally different kind of games.

Possible Partnership
After not getting a response from TGN, I tried to get partnership with Fullscreen. I originally wanted to get it with Yeousch, but since they require 1500 subs and I need 400 more, I was told many times to give a try with Fullscreen. They're actually even affilated with Yeousch.
So, right now after filling the Channels form, I'm waiting for a response. It should take around 1-7 business days to get a reply. If I do, then I should be able to get partnered since I have no current copyright strikes on my channel. Proof:
As for what I'm uploading now, I'm doing Sonic 4 Episode 2 since the Ratchet & Clank Collection was delayed, but I'll LP it when it comes out.

Ratchet and Clank HD Let's Play + other stuff
Right now I have only 3 exams left, and fortunately the collection has been delayed for a couple of weeks, so I'll have time to do it.
I'll start with the first game since it's pretty easy compared to the other ones and it's the one that gives me the most nostalgia out of all the 3 games. Also, Ratchet Deadlocked (yep, dat black sheep) will be released on PSN in HD while it won't be included in the collection since it doesn't fit in a BD disc.
Just like I did in Jak 2, I'll do a trophy run with some editing to make it seem a guide. Later on I'll also try Jak 3, even though I'm still at the beginning of the game in the file I started now.
Out of topic now, this will give you some nostalgia if you've been on YT for a long time:
http://www.zippcast.com/profile/BlueKnightNerd
Basically that's a copycat site of the late 2008 YouTube, which really feels like back in the day. The admins need to fix a lot of issues, but just if you want to know how YT was in the past, just check the site out.
And also, at the time I'm writing this I have 1159 subs which is pretty good. Only 461 left to be able to get partnership. Thanks to everyone who subscribed me (except the ultra annoying ones...).

Lovely May...
As you probably know, I get **** to do on May with school, and I always get mad when I don't have time to record anything. I have an LP in mind, but for a couple of weeks, don't expect much.
I'm currently doing a KH2FM mod so all the KH nerds perhaps won't comment "I can't wait until it's done" when I try doing a Let's Play. Doing Birth By Sleep is not enough for them, at least it seems. I've overplayed KH2FM to death in the last years, and I really want to try different games, unless on real hacked fights.
So, the next LP will be Ratchet & Clank 1 from the HD Collection. I'll be doing the first because it feels to me pretty easy, expecially when I don't have much time. I won't upload constantly until June though, I might annotate that.
And now this is the beginning of me ranting on what YT is doing recently. For some reason, I'm not enjoying uploading videos here like I did in the past, but when I tried a couple of other video sharing sites, I kind of found that fun feeling again. That's all because anything (expecially gaming channels) are based on affilation, partnership and competition. Most of the "big" people think I'm the "poor guy" because I don't have partnership. But if I get it with a company, people from another one still think the same.
And all the changes that YT has been doing recently are making me mad, expecially about the channel page. I STILL can't adapt to it, and I'll probably never. To the people who are new from YT, this is how the channel description looked like back in the day (this is a screenshot of RWJ's channel page in '08):
I could clearly see the description and all the info, the bulletins (now renamed feed), the comments and the videos uploaded. Then look at the dislikes here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q56nxmAikpA God I can't stand it.

Kingdom Hearts 3D Dream Drop Distance
I haven't blogged here in a while, not sure why. So recently KH 3D came out in Japan, I saw a few gameplay videos and it seems to me pretty badass, expecially because the lot of new worlds and bosses added in it (including the Mysterious Figure revealed apparently...).
As for now, I'm not planning to buy it until it gets translated in English. The 3DS has the downside of being region locked, so if Square takes even more time with trying to dub the game in other languages (since European reviewers are always upset about the voice acting being just in English), it'll come out months after the NA release like it happened with KH2. At least I've heard rumors about the game being localized anywhere in Summer. I believe most people now got the bundled version with a Japanese 3DS.
As for the game, the battle system is about the same of BBS. I didn't like it as much as the one in KH2 (even if I'd liked a lot more if the quick time events were not just based on mashing the Triangle button), but it's still bearable. The bosses seem to be very challenging to me, even though I haven't seen much of them and Riku will be a playable character. It also has some fun to play minigame like in KH2, and I remember having a good time with them.
As for recording, since I know somebody would ask me about it, I don't know any way to capture footage from a 3DS, and apparently recording with a crappy shacky camera in potato quality seems to be the only possible way. Just because I have lots of experience with the Kingdom Hearts games, I'd be able to play it even blind (but it's still unlikely), and about challenge videos I totally won't be able to nail them off if I play the game for the first time.
After this game, BBS Volume 2 will be released (and I believe it'll be on PSV), and then Nomura might work on a console sequel. I don't really care on what system it'd be, I'm just missing playing Kingdom Hearts on consoles.

March 9 Update
So, I FINALLY caved in and bought a new mic/headset since many people told me my old one was bad (and it really was). What annoyed me was the static noise in the background (since it wasn't USB), it was way too quiet that I had to mess with the volume all the time on the editing program I use, and it kept skipping the sound all the time. At least this one is way louder, so I'll be able to record on PC with Fraps with no issues.
About the channel layout, ......... WHAT THE ****? Seriously, I can't even figure out how to customize that cluster of shit with all the buttons. They're just making it harder. The comment section is what litterally makes me mad. I can't even take a look at my older comments, and if you want to see all the comments you have to click on that GOD DAMN FEED BUTTON. I also had to delete part of the description since now guess what, it has a fucking 100 characters limit. Now I only have to hope next 2 years when they'll come up with another crap, to be better than this.
Now I end about ranting on YouTube. About the Jak 2 videos, I won't record them on this weekend because I don't have much time. It's still an LP I enjoy, even though it gets frustrating and doing 100% with all the graphic effects is a pain. And about Skyward Sword? **** THAT.

I Still Didn't Get the Jak collection
I never thought shipping something from the States could take so long. It's been 5 days now since I bought the Jak collection and nobody came to deliver it. I'm getting impatient because I won't get many views if I do it too late (so gaming networks won't accept it), or either it'll come out in Europe before and buying it on the internet was just a waste.
I'll still do a trophy guide, so so it will still get some attention, but I don't want that anyone does the same with the same graphic effects I have in mind.
My only fault is to not live in the US, but I can't really until 2016.

Updates: Jak HD Collection / Review Channel / Partnership wut?
Apparently Sony always releases HD collection later in Europe. I'm not sure why (since the US version is multi5), but it always happened. Now with the Jak collection it's not as bad as GoW but I'd still have to wait for over 2 weeks. So I said screw it and bought a copy from ebay, but I'm not sure when it'll arrive (I didn't even check how much money I had left...).
But as for the upcoming LP of Jak 2 (don't really feel like to redo the first one now), I plan to be a crazy perfectionist and get all the trophies which mean all the precursor orb (and so all the challenges I HATE to death). But due to the insane difficulty of the game, I promise I'll die a lot and I will be about to ragequit in some mission (like the one when I had to kill a ton of guards at the water slums). I hope the collection will arrive as soon as I don't get too impatient (like I always do).
I was also trying to review some game, but I realized that it wouldn't be worth doing it on my main channel due to the huge amount of Kingdom Hearts idiot fagboys I tend to get (and that's all my fault). So I made a new account with a lovely username and I'll do those videos there (I'll never tell you which one it is on public or if you beg me to do annoying silent walkthrough videos).
And to the few people who asked me recently if I'll ever get partenered, I really have no idea. Most people tell me that making money from an hobby is not right; even though I like some bemefit like the custom thumbnails or the banners. And because of the gaming videos, I have to get partnered through a gaming network. I'm not sure if I'll do it with Machinima (unlikely due to their rule of not being able to affilate anything else), TGS or Yeousch. But this will happen after I do the Jak 2 LP if it gets a good amount of views and if I like my own work.
Megaupload Down
So, apparently the FBI took down Megaupload now and arrested the creators of the site. Even though I live in Europe, it seems to me the site is banned worldwide.
I only lost a few files which were not really impornant to me, but now I won't be able to do almost anything which requires a digital download (like SSBB custom stages videos).
I know Megaupload had a very bad copyright policy, but if the bills SOPA and PIPA pass, probably even YouTube will end up in the same way.
Will the internet die after this?

Pokemon Hacking
So, I got into this very recently. Lately I played a very popular hack made by a good friend of mine which has even been LPed on LPMoshPit.
So after I played the hack for a while, I got the program and I'm trying to learn how it works, so I can do my own hacks. It seems to me it's pretty fun.
I've always wanted to do a Pokemon game anyway, but after I failed on doing Black, I prefer instaed to try with hacks. I'm not sure if putting sidebars and graphic effects is really worth, but I will still mostly do hacks from the GBA era. Now I don't know if it would be nice I do an LP of my own hack, expecially if I fail at it...

Dark Cloud
It's been a long time people wanted me to LP it. This RPG was one of the launch PS2 games.4
I played the game again after a long time, and I'm not enjoying it. The battle system is way too complicated, there's an huge lack of items you REALLY need most of the times, and you have to look at ANYTHING, I mean you have too look at the health, at the weapon HP (since it breaks) and even when the character gets thirsty and starts losing HP or getting poisoned by a bat.
Sometimes the game is really impossible. You have to go through repetitive dungeons (like 20 for the same kind), and they're all randomized so you will never see what's going on. Sometimes you get lucky and get the key for the next dungeon, and sometimes instaed you get stuck with a billion bats poisoning you.
The game is entirely based on luck and resetting the PS2 everytime, which is very annoying to do on an LP, and I totally refuse to do commentary.
This is mostly why this game is rarely done on YouTube, expecially Let's Plays, and I really don't feel like to do my own LP, even on summer. Sorry to those who wanted me doing it so bad.

New Year Post is Late
Happy 2012 to everyone (trust me, the world won't end)!
Anyway, I'd like to talk more about what I'm planning to LP. Kirby's Return to Dreamland is close to be done, and I'm not so far instaed at Skyward Sword. I'm extremely lazy with it since it's a blind LP (with no autosave fortunately), so I have to do a lot of practice runs and I'm not really too familiar with the Motion controls, expecially since I can't really sit down. I'm enjoying the game a lot, but I'd probably have more if I didn't LP the game so early.
Speaking of Blind LPs, I'll try to do a lot less of them. I've already planned to do Jak 2 and hopefully 3 with getting all the precursor orbs and getting 100% which has been rarely done on YouTube (most of the videos are recorded with camera quality and pretty shacky). I'll try to be extremely informative since I know the game very well, but it's still a Let's Play so there's gonna be LIVE commentary and sometimes deaths (actually it's impossible to not die a lot on Jak 2). You can even take it as a walkthrough, but I warn you to not.
Before summer (if I've done Jak 2), I'll mostly move to other platformers for nostalgic reasons. I've already done a poll in a different way (something I should really STOP doing, because I'm trying to get a bigger audience and that seems to not be the right way; please don't sue me) just to see how many people are interested in certain games I like doing a Let's Play of. The top ones are DK64 (overdone on YT atm), Banjo Kazooie and Spyro 2 Ripto's Rage (and yep, I will be 100%ing them).
And I'm so crazy next summer to LP (or even try to) Dark Cloud. It's by far the most confusing RPG and it's pretty long too. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna screw up unintentionally and get stuck for 10 more parts, but I just warn you that I won't be any informative. I also tried to do a practice run (since I haven't played the game for a LONG time), but I'm totally not enjoying it, so I will start a new file when I LP it.
Thanks for reading this. And just in case you didn't know, I have already a Spyro 1 LP that for some reason didn't get noticed, but you can check it out here:

It was one of my earliest ones, so I'm very unconfident (the quality is also crap because I had no broadband at the time).
